Join us for the opening of VEIL: featuring the NEW works of incredibly talented local female artists Annie Burke & Rose Cope, curated in collaboration with Tera of Orcas Island Winery.  The evening will feature art, wine, and live music.

Seaview Theater Reopening: Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
April 29th & 30th at 7:30 pm.
After a long two years of being closed due to the pandemic, the Sea View Theatre will reopen its doors and welcome back eager film lovers! You can now buy tickets online, in advance for all movies. You can still buy tickets at the door if you’d like as well.  Masks are still required unless actively eating or drinking. Welcome Pedro Lopez De Victoria who has stepped in to manage the theatre operations. See you at the movies!

Prescription Drug Take Back Event
April 30th from 10:00am-2:00pm
The Coalition for Orcas Youth (COY) will be hosting a prescription drug take-back event at Key Bank Drive Thru, 487 Main St, Eastsound, WA. Prescription and over-the-counter medications will be accepted. Medications can remain in their original containers and labels do not need to be removed. Medications not in their original containers will be accepted too. Details can be found here.


Spring Clean-Up at Orcas Center

April 30th from 11:00am-3:00pm
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers willing to get their hands dirty and have a fun time! Volunteers will help us clean up our grounds by weeding, raking, deadheading, trimming, and much more. Please see our flyer for more information here.

Doe Bay Spring Hiking Series with River
April 30th at 3:30pm

Everyone is invited to join Doe Bay’s Resident Naturalist, River Augenstein, for a series of hikes that will highlight the beauty of Orcas Island and the plants and animals that live here. Join our next event on April 30th as we hike the Cascade Lake Lagoon. We will meet at Cascade Lake parking lot at 3:30 pm. See this flyer for additional events here.
