Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival

Artistic Director Aloysia Friedmann put together an amazing series of concerts for this season’s festival featuring a lineup of renowned musicians and composers.  Tickets are available here.

Orcas Artist’s Studio Tour
August 11th-13th
With curated itineraries based on your personal interests, an interactive studio map, and nearly 50 local artists on the tour, you don’t want to miss this year’s event! Studios are open daily from 11:00am-5:00pm for demonstrations and the opportunity to purchase local art directly from the artists.

Bioluminescence Kayak Tour

Join Shearwater Kayaks on a two-hour evening kayak tour through sheltered Deer Harbor as we search for magical, twinkling bioluminescence. Space is limited, so call now or book online. Ages 15+ on Bioluminescence Tours.

Rosario History Presentation and Concert
Tuesday-Saturday at 4:00pm at Rosario Resort
Join Christopher Peacock for an hour presentation of music and photography that walks guests through the history of Orcas Island, the Moran family and the Rosario estate.

Annual Library Fair & Book Sale
August 12th from 10:00am-3:00pm at the Orcas Island Library
Join us for a day filled with fun activities, including story time with our favorite Children’s Librarian, Jenny, live local music, a silent auction where you can bid on unique items, and an exciting rubber ducky race! Proceeds will support the Ken Gibbs Memorial Endowment, an important fund that supports science-related library purchases.
