The Kingdom Fungi: Hikes by Doe Bay Resort
Join River Augenstein for the hike titled Peak Experiences with Mountain Mushrooms. This will be a 3 mile, winding hike to Little Summit Overlook. Directions can be provided by Doe Bay Resort at 360-376-2291.
Roller Skating at Orcas Island School
Come skate with the PTSA at OISD in the Old Gym! $5 per person admittance, $15 per family. We recommend parents bring younger skaters and beginners from 4:00-5:00pm, with older and more experienced skaters after 5:00pm.
Murder Mystery at New Leaf Cafe
October 29th
Take part in a classic whodunit tale of Murder in Manhattan while imbibing in an evening of fine dining. Guests are the actors, investigators, and the accused…who will you be? $50 from each ticket sold will be donated to the Orcas Center. Orcas Center is a community center for the arts that provides islanders with artistic and cultural experiences that feed their hearts, souls, and minds. Join us for this family event! Enjoy hot dogs, soup, chili and cider to warm you up. Fun, fall activities will include hay rides, pumpkin painting, cider-pressing, archery, climbing at the Climbing Tower, games, and much more! Free, family events on Sunday, with our Super Spooky Haunted Hayride on Saturday from 7:00-8:30pm.
