Girls Volleyball Round One District Playoffs

The Kingdom Fungi: Hikes by Doe Bay Resort
Saturday, October 29th at 3:00pm
Join River Augenstein for the hike titled Peak Experiences with Mountain Mushrooms. This will be a 3 mile, winding hike to Little Summit Overlook. Directions can be provided by Doe Bay Resort at 360-376-2291.


Roller Skating at Orcas Island School
October 29th  from 4:00-8:00pm
Come skate with the PTSA at OISD in the Old Gym!  $5 per person admittance, $15 per family.  We recommend parents bring younger skaters and beginners from 4:00-5:00pm, with older and more experienced skaters after 5:00pm.

Murder Mystery at New Leaf Cafe

October 29th
Take part in a classic whodunit tale of Murder in Manhattan while imbibing in an evening of fine dining.  Guests are the actors, investigators, and the accused…who will you be? $50 from each ticket sold will be donated to the Orcas Center. Orcas Center is a community center for the arts that provides islanders with artistic and cultural experiences that feed their hearts, souls, and minds. American Legion Pancake Breakfast
October 30th from 8:00am-12:00pm
Join us for all the pancakes you can eat, your choice of bacon or sausage, 2 eggs, and coffee, tea or orange juice.  $10 per person.

Fall Festival Weekend at Camp Orkila

October 30th from 1:30-5:30pm
Join us for this family event! Enjoy hot dogs, soup, chili and cider to warm you up. Fun, fall activities will include hay rides, pumpkin painting, cider-pressing, archery, climbing at the Climbing Tower, games, and much more! Free, family events on Sunday, with our Super Spooky Haunted Hayride on Saturday from 7:00-8:30pm.

La Montaña
Film Showing at OICC

The Orcas Island Community Church Global Outreach Team is presenting the film La Montaña, a powerful true story of God’s presence working inside the lives and mistakes of human life. It is the fascinating story of how the most unlikely confusion leads to lasting peace between sworn enemies in one of Columbia’s most hostile, war-stricken areas. This is a free community event.

The Sea View Halloween Cover Show
