Call for Artists
The Art Committee at the Orcas Island Public Library is seeking applications for the 2024 exhibit schedule. All types of art — painting, sculpture, photography, mixed-media — are acceptable.  The deadline for submissions is November 1st.   Interested Orcas Island artists 16 years or older should submit an application including the following:
1. name, address, email, and phone number
2. six digital copies of your work
3. a brief (200 word) statement covering the artist’s interests and background
Applications can be sent to to the Committee Chair, Dave Kosiur at: dkosiur@gmail.com. Brochures with additional information about submissions and exhibiting are available at the front desk of the Orcas Island Library.

Rosario History Presentation and Concert

Swap Meet and Trashion Fashion Show
September 16th from 10:00am-4:00pm at The Grange
Hosted by The Exchange, located at The Grange.  Join us for food, music and local vendors.  The Fashion show begins at 3:00pm, with outfits created using recycled, reclaimed, and found materials. To participate, contact Asifa at asifa@exchangeorcas.org.

Saturdays 10:00am-2:00pm at The Village Green

Lum Farm Petting Zoo
Saturdays through September from 12:00-4:00pm at Lum Farm
No reservations required. $5 per person, ages 3 and under are free. Kids under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Parking is available in the farmstand parking lot, and guests can check in at the farmstand. We will have a farmstand host available up at the goat pens to introduce you to our most congenial farm ambassadors.
