Girl Meets Dirt Farm Tour
September 30th from 9:00-4:30pm​ at the Girl Meets Dirt Tasting Room
Girl Meets Dirt is in its 10th harvest season growing & sourcing local fruit, produce, and herbs for their multi-year award winning spoon preserves, cutting preserves, shrubs, bitters & natural wine. Join us Friday in our Tasting Room for complimentary jam & shrub tastings as well as wine tasting flights and glass pours for purchase. Orcas Island Farm Tours

San Juan Islands Farm Tours are back this September and October! Local islanders and visitors are welcome to enjoy the return of Farm Tours on San Juan, Orcas and Lopez Islands this fall, with free and paid events that everyone in the family can enjoy! Kathy’s Ukulele Kanikapila
Fridays from 10:30am-12:30pm at the Orcas Senior Center
Join the Kanikipila, Hawaiian for “play music,” led by Kathy Collister, The first half hour will be a lesson or two and then everyone will have the opportunity to play. Adults of all ages with all levels of ukulele expertise are welcome, but as per Kathy’s request, please be prepared to show your vaccination card at your first session. Art Opening at The Orcas Center

The VAC and San Juan Island Agricultural Guild Present: Island Bounty. The show will open with a reception on September 30th, and be on display from September 30th-November 15th. Fall Food & Music at Orcas Island Winery
October 1st at 3:00pm
Celebrate the beginning of Fall with a fun afternoon of food and music at Orcas Island Winery! Poutine Your Mouth food truck returns to Orcas Island serving their fabulous food all day. Music starts at 3:00pm with a unique acoustic performance by Release the Kraken. Then, as the sun drops behind Turtleback Mountain, we will host a fireside acoustic performance at the big fire pit with our good friends Hot Tomatoes.

Historical Museum Annual Fundraiser

Celebration of Cayou Cove
October 2nd
Please visit this link for volunteer opportunities and the event schedule, beginning with a Sunday morning water blessing of Cayou Channel from Orcas Landing/Bayhead Marina to West Sound Community Club. Join descendants in a community paddle, sail, power from Orcas landing public dock to West Sound. All welcome in your own canoe, kayak, SUP, sail or power boat. Join the flotilla anywhere along Cayou Channel. Tea, coffee and refreshments at will be available at the West Sound Community Club with descendants.
