Orcas Island Garden Club Meeting

Join us we welcome Jennie Bryan-Goforth from WSU San Juan County Extension. Jennie will be presenting remotely from Skagit county. We will learn about a variety of safe methods available for preserving and storing our harvest. Food preservation is an important strategy to increase food access, reduce food waste in your household, and utilize local food systems. This presentation will introduce methods such as canning, pickling, fermentation, dehydration, freezing, and microclimate storage.
