Conversation & Poetry – May 11th at 6:00pm – Join us for poetry, conversation and refreshments.
Poetry Workshop – May 12th at 10:00 am – This is a generative workshop where participants will explore sentiment and meaning emanating from the simple objects they interact with. No previous poetry writing experience necessary. Registration required, sign-up at the library desk or call by phone.
Para conversación y poesía – May 12th at 4:00pm – This event will be conducted in Spanish. With her amazing background as an immigrant from El Salvador, Claudia Castro Luna discusses

Babysitting Night
May 12th from 6:00-10:00pm at the Orcas School Cafeteria
Hosted by Key Club, a high school service and community club, there will be games, crafting and possibly a movie too. Snacks will also be available. Cost is $20 for one child or $35 per family for 4 hours.
Pick up and drop off is any time between 6:00 and 10:00pm, RSVPs are appreciated. All babysitters have either 3+ years of experience or have taken the Camp Orkila babysitting training and adult chaperones will be present. Please contact Emma Thoron at 360-622-9175 with any questions or to RSVP.
