This event is free and open to ladies ages 18 and up.

Tournament Weekend at Orcas Golf Club
September 14th & 16th
Start off the weekend with the Contractors Scramble at 3:30pm on Friday then come and play for the Club Championship on Sunday! You may play at any time of the day to compete as long as you have someone to attest your score. There will be a potluck dinner in the afternoon, hamburgers will be provided, please bring a side dish to share.

Whale of a Show Auditions
September 14th from 3:30-5:00pm & 15th from 9:30-10:30am at the Orcas Center
It’s time to get your individual and group acts together for the Whale of a Show. Performers of all ages will share their talents on the Orcas Center stage on September 29th at 6:30pm. Performances include singing, dancing, instrumentals, skits, and more. If you can’t make auditions but are interested in performing, call Didier Gincig at 360-298-0362.

Orcas Currents Lecture

In this talk, based on his recent book Frankenstein: How a Monster Became an Icon, Sidney Perkowitz will introduce Mary Shelley and her literary circle. He will explain how she came to write the novel and illustrate how the story has evolved over two centuries.
