EDC Electrical Basics Training
Tuesdays/Thursdays from 3:45-5:45pm at Orcas High School
This free course will be taught at Orcas Island High School by Vocational and Woodworking Instructor Brett McFarland. The training is geared for high school students and young adults, and will include core electrician skills, solar wiring installations, safety and more. Cancer Survivorship Meeting

Guest speaker, Dr. Vincent Shu, will be discussing the craving cancer has for sugar, the so-called Warburg effect: the metabolic requirements of cell proliferation. This is a monthly, no cost, confidential support group for anyone touched by cancer whether personally, as a family member, friend, caregiver or in any other capacity.
