Holy Week Services at Orcas Island Community Church
April 15th-17th
Special services include Good Friday Tenebrae at 6:30pm and a Holy Saturday Prayer Vigil between 9:00am and 1:00pm. This year, we will once again worship together on Mt. Constitution for a Sunrise Service on Easter Morning at 5:45am, as well as at 10:00am at the Orcas Island Community Church Sanctuary. More information is available at orcaschurch.org. Orcas Island Lions Club Annual Egg Hunt
April 16th at 10:00am at Cascade Lake

The Orcas Island Lions Club is happy to offer the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at its traditional location at Cascade Lake in Moran State Park. Easter Eggs with sweets inside will be hidden about, but all children who come will leave with a bag of treats! There will also be a face-painting station for kids. Event parking has been prepaid by the Orcas Island Lions Club.

On Stage at Orcas Center: Third Coast Percussion

Third Coast Percussion is a Grammy Award-winning, Chicago-based percussion quartet. For over fifteen years, the ensemble has created exciting and unexpected performances that constantly redefine the classical music experience. Tickets are available online, Covid-19 restrictions apply.

OIFF Classic Film Series: A Matter of Life and Death
April 17th at 4:00pm at Orcas Center
Our 2022 OIFF Classics Film Series closes out with a world-class, Technicolor film about War and the Afterlife: A Matter of Life and Death.  This film was voted to be among the top 100 movies of all time and the second greatest British film ever. The movie’s afterlife special effects almost steal the show all by themselves! The Classic Film Series is free to the public and generously funded by the OrcaSong Institute.
