International Young Eagles Day
June 14th from 9:00am-1:00pm at the Orcas Airport
Come out for an exciting day of aviation and celebrate the EAA Young Eagles program at Orcas Island Airport. Young people ages 8-17 are invited to experience the wonder of flight with a FREE introductory flight in a general aviation aircraft with experienced volunteer pilots, aviation displays, and the opportunity to learn about careers in aviation. All flights are provided by EAA member volunteers and conducted with strict safety protocols. Participants will receive an official Young Eagles certificate and flight logbook to commemorate their experience.
Orcas Island Farmers Market

The 2025 Summer Farmers Market promises to be better than ever! All Summer long you can head down to the Village Green every Saturday from 10am-2pm and support your favorite vendors, farmers and food growers, and catch some amazing musical talent from the stage. Summer Household Hazardous Waste Round Up

The Orcas Exchange is hosting its Summer Hazardous Waste Round-Up with Clean Harbors professionals on site to take all of your household hazardous wastes, including liquid fuels (gasoline, kerosene, lamp oil, etc.) for FREE. Please no stains or paints at this event – you can bring that to the Exchange any day of the year! This is for households only (businesses can register in advance).
