Tennis Camp with Mike Pervolarakis

The Orcas Tennis Club invites all tennis enthusiasts to hone their skills with ATP professional player and coach Mike Pervolarakis. Mike will be offering the technical expertise and tactical knowledge he earned as a member of Greece’s Davis Cup and United Cup Teams, as well as his collegiate and professional tennis careers, to players of all levels, and everyone is welcome. 2nd Annual End of School Funfest
June 2oth from 12:00-4:00pm at the Village Green
The Funhouse is ready to throw a party for the kids and families of Orcas Island! What better way to celebrate the start of the summer than with free food, music & entertainment, ice cream, snow cones and games galore!? Head to the Village Green at high noon and get ready for the chaos, er, fun!!!

Art Reception at the Orcas Senior Center
June 20th from 1:00-6:00pm
Join island artists Susan Slapin and Gail Anderson-Toombs for an art reception at the Orcas Senior Center as they display their work in a show entitled “Worlds of Color.” Light refreshments will be served and proceeds of the show will benefit OCS.

Teen Anime & Manga Fridays

This program runs June 20-August 22.  This summer, we’re diving into Delicious in Dungeon—where fantasy meets food in the most unexpected (and hilarious) ways. Join us each week for episodes, manga chats, snacks, and hangouts. All teens welcome. Come nerd out with us!

Needlework Circle at The Orcas Senior Center
Fridays from 2:00-6:00pm
Join this weekly gathering for knitters, crocheters, embroiderers, and all needleworkers at Orcas Senior Center, every Friday at 2pm. Come hang out—no project required! Whether you haven’t knitted in years, want to learn to crochet, or just want to relax and chat, you’ll find a wonderful selection of donated yarn, needles, books, and plenty of friendly advice. The 2025 Summer Farmers Market promises to be better than ever! All Summer long you can head down to the Village Green every Saturday from 10am-2pm and support your favorite vendors, farmers and food growers, and catch some amazing musical talent from the stage.

Summer Solstice Parade
June 21st at 12:00pm in Eastsound
Orcas Island’s Summer Solstice Parade is a vibrant, community-organized celebration of the longest day of the year. A joyful explosion of creativity and island spirit, the parade features homemade, human-powered “floats,” whimsical costumes, music, and dancing, all winding through the streets of Eastsound. Reflecting the island’s artistic and free-spirited character, it is a truly grassroots event that embodies the Orcas Island way of life. Expect the unexpected, and be ready to join the fun!

3rd Annual Soulstice Fest
June 21st from 2:00-10:00pm at The Grange
Now in its third year, the Soulstice Fest returns with more of everything you know and love about this incredible continuation of the vibe from the Solstice Parade. More music, more food, more games, and more FUN! Treat yourself to a party that kinda won’t stop because the sun won’t go down! Bad Dads, Batbox, Chubasco, Danny Herasymchuck, Summer Barbone, Mudbath, and Real Freaque will entertain you and yours while you enjoy the company and the spirit of Solstice. Plus, you’ll be helping out the Orcas Grange!!

Outdoor Summer Concert Series

Brasil In Motion is a Brazilian Arts organization whose work is firmly rooted in the importance of a balanced body, mind and spirit and the integral role the arts play in nurturing this balance.
