Stacie Nordrum, Au.D., CCC-A, of Island Hearing Healthcare will be offering hearing appointments.  Services available include hearing tests, consultations, hearing aid programming, and other hearing aid services. Spirit of Drumming Group

Join us at Wildflower Apothecary every Thursday from 5-8pm for CommuniTEA night! We will have a weekly herbal tea offering by donation. You’re welcome to bring instruments, crafts, songs, & stories to connect with your island community & our herbal allies.

Seaside Supper Series: Crab Boil at Outlook Inn
August 7th from 5:00-7:30pm
Roll up your sleeves, it’s crab season on Orcas! Every Thursday, join us at the waterfront for a festive Summer Crab Boil featuring local crab, shrimp, red potatoes, corn, and onions, served family style with sweeping views of Eastsound. And top it all off with a bright, housemade lemon bar and good company for the perfect summer celebration. Kids 10 and under eat for half price, and our bar will be open for ice-cold drinks and sunny-day sips. Reservations are required.

Yoga Class with Susie Frank
Thursdays at 5:30pm at the Orcas Senior Center
This slow-paced session focuses on foundational yoga poses, conscious breathing, and supported postures designed to ease stress and improve flexibility, strength, and balance. The class is ideal for beginners or anyone seeking a more mindful, accessible practice. Props are used to ensure safety and comfort. Participants are encouraged to bring a mat, blanket, and bolster or pillow if available; a limited number of extras will be provided. The class is led by Susie Frank, a long-time Orcas Island resident and certified instructor who has practiced yoga since 2009. A sliding scale donation of $10 to $20 is suggested. Full Moon Kayak Tours
August 7th-9th at Deer Harbor Marina
Join Shearwater Adventures for a magical way to end your day on the island! Paddle from Deer Harbor Marina to the serene Wasp Islands, where you’ll watch the sun melt into the horizon, then glide back under the glow of the moon. Their Full Moon Kayak Tours launch from a dock, keeping feet dry while getting in and out of the kayaks. Morning, afternoon, and sunset tours are also scheduled all week. 360.376.4699
