September 23rd at 4:00pm at Orcas Center
Performances may include song, dance, skits, instrumental music, or other acts. Organizers will select the most appropriate acts for the two live shows, scheduled for Saturday, October 11th at 6:00pm and Sunday, October 12th at 2:00pm. Acts should be between 1 and 3 minutes in length. For more information and to sign up, visit orcascenter.org. Self-tape auditions will also be accepted and must be submitted to chelsea@orcascenter.org by September 26th at 6:00pm. Participants requiring a backing track should send the file or a YouTube link to tech@orcascenter.org by noon on September 23rd. Any technical needs beyond a single microphone (such as a guitar amp, drum kit, multiple microphones, or video) should also be communicated in advance to tech@orcascenter.org. Organizers reserve the right to not include or cut any performance that is deemed underprepared or inappropriate, or if the participant’s behavior is disruptive at any time. The show is not a competition but a fun, community showcase of local youth talent. Island favorite Maddie Olson will return as host for the live performances. Tickets can be purchased online at www.OrcasCenter.org, by phone at 360.376.2281 x100, or in-person Tuesday through Friday from 10 am–3 pm, and an hour before showtime.
