Virtual Strength Training with Pam Evans
Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8:30-9:30pm
Join Pam for a non-impact strength, conditioning, and flexibility workout. Each class includes a warmup, standing exercises with optional weights, and floor work for legs, abs, and glutes—plus plenty of stretching. Mobility Assistance Program
Monday/Wednesday from 10:00-11:00am, Friday from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Senior Center
If you are in need of borrowing some temporary mobility equipment, then the Lions Club is here to help! With the generous help of Kay Miller and Stephen Bentley, the Lions Club offers a loan program for various types of mobility equipment. A Lions Club member is onsite to offer assistance Monday and Wednesday from 10:00-11:00am & Friday from 10:00-noon.
Drop-In Peer Grief Support Group

Gather in a supportive, non-judgmental space to process grief and mourning with the Drop-In Peer Grief Support Group Wednesdays at 10am at Orcas Senior Center. This group is designed to help normalize your feelings, facilitate healing, and provide understanding. This is a safe space to explore your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. Senior Lunch
Monday/Wednesday from 11:30-12:30pm at the Senior Center
Diners enjoy delicious meals, engaging conversation, live piano music by Ron Myers and art exhibits by the Orcas Senior Center Visual Arts Committee. No Reservation is Needed! There is a suggested donation of $6.00 per meal for guests aged 60 and older (Spouses/partners, disabled dependents, and unpaid caregivers of guests aged 60 and older also have a suggested donation of $5.00 per meal). Cost for guests under the age of 60 is $8.50 per meal.

Understanding Alzheimers Conversation

Join us for a thought-provoking conversation with Dr. Robert Rubey, a retired psychiatrist whose decades of experience span adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, and dementia care.A question-and-answer session follows, giving you the chance to bring your own curiosity to the table. This presentation is intended to inform and encourage discussion. It does not provide medical advice or treatment recommendations. Everyone is welcome.
Kids Got Talent Auditions
September 16th from 2:30-4:30pm at the Orcas Center Black Box
Bring your talent and show us your act! Your performance can incorporate anything from song and dance to skits to playing an instrument. All acts must be under two and a half minutes in length. Organizers will select the most appropriate acts for the two performances, which will take place on Friday, September 25th at 6:00pm. and Saturday, September 26th at 2:00pm.
