Bill Yarlott Virtual Fishing Derby Day
April 23rd from daybreak to 3:00pm
Kids and their families will be able to fish at Cascade Lake between daybreak and 3 pm. Participants who catch a fish may come to the Cascade Lake Day Use Area, have their fish measured and have a photo taken by Derby staff/volunteers which qualifies the youth’s fish for a chance to win a prize. In previous years, groups gathered at the end of the Derby to celebrate the announcement of the winners. The Great Islands Clean Up
April 24th from 10:00am-2:00pm on all islands
Any trash you pick up on the roads or beaches can be dropped off at the transfer station with information on where you cleaned up and the number of hours you volunteered. American Legion Sloppy Joe Meal
April 24th from 11:00am-3:00pm at the American Legion Hall

American Legion Pancake Breakfast
April 25th from 8:00am-12:00pm at the American Legion Hall
Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children. All the pancakes you can eat, with your choice of bacon or sausage, and two eggs.  Coffee, tea, orange juice or milk are available. Choose to dine in, or take to go!

The Virtual Vineyard: A Taste of Tuscany
April 25th at 5:00pm via Zoom
Join Orcas Senior Center and Doe Bay Wine Company’s Cole Sisson, as we traverse through Tuscany for this month’s tasting! Cole and special guest, Matthew Fleming, US ambassador for La Spinetta Vineyard will join us to discuss this selection of great spring wines. To participate, register at www.orcasseniors.org. Then, purchase and pick up your wine, cheese, and crackers at Doe Bay Wine Company Thursday-Monday 11am-5pm by Saturday, April 24.
