This year’s event will focus on the removal of branches, debris, and litter from the Cascade Day Use Area, North-end Campground, and Midway Campground. Park staff will be available to direct volunteers to different work sites and tasks. Volunteers are asked to meet at the Cascade Lake Day Use Picnic Shelter to check-in and get direction from park staff. Basic tools and snacks will be available. Spring Ferry Schedule Begins

The ferry system for Anacortes/San Juan Islands will be operating on a new Spring schedule between April 10 – June 18. You can view the schedule by route here. For last minute changes to the schedule, access cancellations by route and alerts from the WSDOT website.
Holy Week Services at Orcas Island Community Church
April 10th at 10:00am
We begin with the celebration of Palm Sunday on April 10th and end with our Easter service on April 17th at 10:00am. Special services include Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, with a Holy Saturday prayer vigil between 9:00am and 1:00pm in the Sanctuary. This year, we will once again worship together on Mt. Orcas Socrates Cafe
April 10th from 4:00-6:00pm via Zoom
Orcas Senior Center continues to virtually host the Orcas Socrates Café on the second Sunday of each month. This is not a book club, but rather a conversation, based on the book, Socrates Café: A Fresh Taste of Philosophy by Christopher Phillips. Each month will offer a new discussion topic, where everyone will be encouraged to exchange philosophical perspectives based on personal experiences.
