Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival
August 6th-21st
The performers are arriving, rehearsals are starting, and opening night is this Friday, August 6! Wherever you are, you can stream this year’s Festival, free.  Please see the information below on the upcoming events.

Orcas Island Farmers Market
Saturdays from 10:00am-3:00pm at the Village Green
Come shop local vendors for produce, food, artisan crafts, and more!  There are many new vendors joining us for the 2021 season, and the newest update is that we are able to accept EBT Snap benefits for payment!

Orcas Road Classics Car Show
August 7th from 10:00am-3:00pm at the Airport Park
Cars need to arrive between 8:00-10:00am; $10 entry fee for each display car. All show cars need to stay in place until 3 pm. Donations of canned goods for the Orcas Food Bank are welcome.

Saturday Storytime with Orcas Island Library
Saturdays from 11:00-11:30am at the Village Green, Weather Permitting
Join us as the weather gets nicer for outdoor storytime!  Social distancing and face masks for participants 2 years and up.

Co-op Courtyard Summer Concert Series
August 7th at 12:00-2:o0pm in the Food Co-op Courtyard
Grab something cool or sweet at the Co-op and relax outside with live music from local musicians.

Salmonberry School 20th Year Anniversary Celebration
August 7th at 5:30pm on the Salmonberry Lawn

Keepers of the Patos Light Outing
August 8th at 9:30am at Brants Landing
The Keepers of the Patos Light are sponsoring a boat ride to Patos Island Lighthouse. The boats will leave Brandt’s Landing just off of North Beach Road at 9:30 m on Sunday morning, and return at 2 or 3 pm. Call 360-376-4067 for more information.

Orcas Socrates Cafe
August 8th from 4:00-6:00pm at Orcas Senior Center
On the second Sunday afternoon each month, Orcas Senior Center hosts the Orcas Socrates Café. It is an opportunity to gather virtually, as a community, for a broad conversation on philosophical perspectives. Register by emailing Michel@orcasseniors.org.
