The Art of the Memoir

The Orcas Island Library and Orcas Island Historical Museums invite you to an evening with writers Edee Kulper and John Ashenhurst as they discuss their process of writing memoirs during their time in the San Juan Islands. They will also explore the journals of Rachel Adams, a Crane and Orcas Islander who kept a daily journal for thirty years chronicling daily life. After the presentation, the library will stay open from 7-9pm for attendees to embrace a 2-hour memoir writing session.
