Deadline for Notice of Intent January 29th
Co-op Board Elections will begin in February and we need your input. The Board of Directors has several open positions available for enthusiastic Owners who want to engage with their Co-op community. Voting for the Board Election will begin in February and extend up until the Annual Meeting. The deadline for submitting a notice of intent to run and a candidate statement to get on the ballot is January 29th.
Leadership San Juans Community Seminar
January 29th
Leadership San Juan Islands is pleased to announce the new LSJI dates for our 2021 community seminars, which will begin January 29th 2021. Three informational community seminars will be held virtually for our island community throughout the first half of 2021. The public is welcome to these free community seminars, visit www.lsji.org for more information and to register.
Seniors have Virtual Talent
January 30th at 6:00pm
Orcas Senior Center and Orcas Center are excited to announce a collaboration on the much-anticipated Seniors Have (Virtual) Talent! The event, featuring talented community members, will be aired on the Orcas Senior Center and Orcas Center websites: www.orcasseniors.org and www.orcascenter.org.
Some restaurants are open for social distance dining and others are continuing with take-out/delivery options. Plan to call ahead to confirm that they are open, but we encourage supporting the small businesses in our community during this time, if you are able! This includes boutiques and other shops across the county.
