St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 17th at 12:00pm in Eastsound
Wear your green and join your island friends and neighbors for a brief but beloved island event! If you want to bring props, decorate a float, ride in a car – it’s all your choice. The only requirement is be green! All participants stage at 11:30am in the rear parking area of Island Market. At 12 noon the parade takes off north up Prune Alley and then south on North Beach Road, ending back at the Market. The Orcas Island Community Band and St. Patrick will see you rain or shine!
St. Patrick’s Day Feast & Share
March 17th from 12:00-10:00pm at Con’s Pit Stop
On St. Patrick’s Day, stop by Con’s Pit Stop and settle in for a plate piled high with a home-cooked family recipe of tender corned beef & cabbage, served up with a slice of freshly baked Irish Soda Bread. And for a grand finish, take your pick of: Guinness chocolate cake with Bailey’s frosting, or Irish apple cake with custard. Pre-Order & Pass It On! Order a meal for one for $19 if you’re looking for a hearty solo feast, or “Up the Craic” by going for a meal for two for $35 and enjoy a proper Irish spread. And here’s the bit that’d do your soul good add on another meal for someone who could use a bit of kindness for $10 and we’ll see to it that it finds the right home.
