Film Screening & Discussion
March 24th at 6:00pm at Orcas Center
Amadeus, the 1984 film about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, won eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Screenplay. This brilliantly crafted film tells the partially true, partially imagined story of Mozart and his rival, Antonio Salieri. Come out and watch the film then join quasi-accurate music historian Bruce Langford for a lively, but brief about what is true and not true in the film. In some instances illustrating that the truth is even stranger than fiction. Co-sponsored by Orcas Center and Orcas Public Library. Admission is free!
