Advanced Yoga will meet at the Madrona Room of Orcas Center, cost is $12, drop-ins are welcome.

Halloween in Eastsound
October 31st from 3:00-6:00pm
Come trick or treat through town!  The Chamber is working with San Juan County to help reduce traffic on North Beach Road. Between the hours of 3 pm and 6 pm no new traffic will be allowed to enter North Beach at Main Street and at A Street. Cars that are parked on the Road may exit carefully during that time.

Trick or Treating for Books
October 31st from 3:00-6:00pm at the Orcas Library
Orcas Island Public Library is hosting our annual Trick-or-Treating for Books event–kids that come in costume take home a free book! The event will be outside on our South Lawn along with storytelling for ghouls and goblins. This event is free and open to the public thanks to generous donations from Friends of the Orcas Island Library. For more information, visit orcaslibrary.org, call 360-376-4985.

Girls SWISH League Basketball
September 20-December 5th at the OCS Gym
Teams will be divided by age group based on registration numbers, 3rd-8th grade. Practice will start the week of September 20 and go through mid-December. Younger team members will meet coach Bonnie in the OCS gym Mondays/Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30pm, older team will meet coach Jen at the OCS gym Tuesdays/Thursdays from 5:30- 7:30pm. Games will be played throughout Skagit Valley on Saturdays. Players will need indoor basketball shoes, and should dress in athletic pants and shirt for practices. We are still looking for volunteer coaches for girls basketball! If you are interested, email alfred@oiprd.org.

Community Church Fall Carnival
October 31st from 5:00-6:30 at the Orcas Island Community Church
Kids’ Ministry will be hosting their annual Fall Carnival on October 31st!  Children and adults are all welcome, and costumes are encouraged. Games, activities, and prizes for kids of all ages will be available at each door, around the periphery of OICC’s family center building. There is free food and apple cider offered. BINGO will be held indoors at 5:15 pm. It is sure to be great fun for everyone!

Sound Movement Classes
Mondays from 6:45-8:00pm at Studio 205 B at the Airport Center
