Art Opening Event at Orcas Island Winery
November 18th at 5:00pm
The show, Cloudberry, features the works of evocative emerging contemporary artist and painter, Indigo Free – a local to Orcas Island. The artwork will be installed with video media and sound art. For opening night , Indigo joins creative forces with local resident and internationally known musical talent/ electronic composer, Cool Maritime, for a visually and sensually captivating show. The show is curated by Tera Andaya of Orcas Island Winery / Must Gallery.

Drawing from Rafe Pearlman’s experiences growing up in the Alaskan wilderness, KANU is an immersive multidisciplinary performance. Featuring Pearlman’s lush and dynamic vocals, in collaboration with world class guest musicians, KANU takes you on a journey into a wild and interactive landscape of song, soundscapes, visual installations and storytelling. Coach Kami Griffin will host a coed basketball skills clinic for 1st and 2nd graders at the Orcas Christian School Gym.

Tabitha Rose will be popping up at Orcas Island Winery for cocktail hour and floral art. She’s creating and offering locally foraged, beautifully stunning (and everlasting) holiday centerpieces, table-scapes and arrangements.
