Soup Cook-Off

Local teams from the Orcas Community Participatory Agriculture (OCPA) community farm network and the Orcas community at large are invited to prepare soup to nourish everyone attending this event. Prizes include harvest shares from OCPA farms, trophies, ribbons, and certificates to adorn your kitchen. Music, hot cider, bread and butter will also be served. NaNoWriMo Writing Sprint

Orcas Island Public Library is excited to host the first annual All Island Writing Sprint–an extraordinary literary event presented in partnership with Lael Watson, HALO, and NaNoWriMo. This incredible night of creativity will offering aspiring and seasoned writers the chance to ignite their imaginations and pen their masterpieces.
