Kathy’s Ukulele Kanikapila
Fridays from 10:30am-12:30pm at the Orcas Senior Center
Join the Kanikipila, Hawaiian for “play music,” led by Kathy Collister, The first half hour will be a lesson or two and then everyone will have the opportunity to play. Adults of all ages with all levels of ukulele expertise are welcome, but as per Kathy’s request, please be prepared to show your vaccination card at your first session. Whale of a Show Auditions
October 14th from 4:00-5:00pm
Whale of a Show is the Island celebration of talented youth and their families and will take Center Stage this October 22nd and 23rd! Acts from ages 5 – 18 are invited to participate. Community Cider Press Day at Tidepool Coffeehouse

October 15th from 10:00am-2:00pm
Come join us Saturday and make your own apple cider! We’ll provide the press, you provide the apples and containers. We’ll also have the Mariners game on the background so you won’t miss an inning.

Doe Bay Hikes with River: Reflections on Forest Fungi
October 15th at 3:00pm at Mountain Lake
Mountain Lake to Cedar Grove: This 2.5 mile out and back hike follows the shores of Mountain Lake and culminates in a breathtaking stand of old growth Red Cedars. All hikes start at 3 pm sharp. Meet at the trailhead. Directions are provided on the Doe Bay website. Bring water and please dress appropriately.

Roller Skating at Orcas Island School
October 15th  from 4:00-8:00pm
Come skate with the PTSA at OISD in the Old Gym!  $5 per person admittance, $15 per family.  We recommend parents bring younger skaters and beginners from 4:00-5:00pm, with older and more experienced skaters after 5:00pm.


Live Music at Orcas Island Winery: JP and the OK Rhythm Boys

JP, Gordon, and Anita present an evening of their signature music and fun in concert in the cozy tasting room of Orcas Island Winery.
