Advanced Healthcare Directive Workshop
February 12th 9:30-11:30am at the Orcas Library
This all-ages event (18+) is designed to help participants complete, save, and distribute their Advance Healthcare Directive, with a focus on getting it done rather than just discussing it. The workshop will be led by Threshold Cooperative members Leslie Walker, Advance Care Directive Advocate and organizer of the Conversations with Mortality Film Series, and Libby Garcia, Hospice & Emergency RN and organizer of Orcas Island Death Cafés. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet, along with contact information for their Health Care Power of Attorney and any existing advance directives. RSVPs are appreciated at lizabelwrites@yahoo.com, though drop-ins are welcome. More information is available at www.orcasthresholdcollective.org.
