Ukulele Kanikapila with Kathy Collister
Thursdays from 1:00-3:00pm at the Orcas Senior Center
Join the Kanikapila, Hawaiian for “play music,” led by Kathy Collister, every Thursday. The first half hour will be a lesson and then everyone will have the opportunity to play. Kathy has been playing for about a decade and she would love to introduce you to the joys of making music of your own. All levels of ukulele expertise are welcome. Please be prepared to show your vaccination card at your first session. Mask and distancing are required at Orcas Senior Center and there is no fee to attend. $2 drop-in fee, ages 16 and older. In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep kids learning in-person, participants must follow the school masking requirement. At this time N95, KN95, or 3-layer surgical masks are required.
