12th Annual Doe Bay Festival
August 7th-11th at Doe Bay Resort
Doe Bay Resort will be closed to the public starting August 7th to kick off Doe Bay Fest 12! The property will be open to ticket holders only, including the Café. The resort will re-open on the 15th. More details are listed at www.doebayfest.com.

Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival
August 2nd-17th at the Orcas Center
Join us for the 22nd OICMF! Artistic Director Aloysia Friedmann has organized a fantastic lineup of internationally renowned musicians for this series of many evening concerts and daytime events for all ages. Tickets are required for all events and are available online at www.orcascenter.org or at the Orcas Center Box Office.

This event is free and open to ladies ages 18 and up.

Brown Bag Concert: Orcatrazz
August 7th at 12:00pm at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church
Bring a lunch to enjoy on the lawn! Donations will benefit the music scholarship fund.

Public Meeting: Orcas Kiwanis Club
August 7th at 12:30pm at the Orcas Community Church
The public is welcome, meets regularly every Wednesday.

Advance Directive Workshop
August 7th from 1:00-3:00pm at the Orcas Senior Center
RN Libby Garcia will guide participants through step by step instructions to fill out an Advanced Directive/Living Will. Visit endoflifewa.org to review the Advanced Directive form that will be used during this workshop. This workshop is free, but participants must pre-register at the Senior Center’s front desk or by calling 360-376-2677.
