Orcas Island Cheese Club Monthly Tasting

A monthly gathering to explore unique artisan cheeses from around the world paired with exciting wines in a relaxed, community-driven setting. It is a casual, drop-in, standing-only event. The perfect happy hour! This tasting is free for CHEESE club members. Each member can bring a plus one. Salish Sea Early Music Festival
May 7th at 5:00pm at the Adventist Church
The Salish Sea Early Music Festival brings Louis XIV’s Musicians to Orcas Island. Canadian Viola da gambist Caroline Nicolas from New York City, baroque guitarist William Simms from Baltimore and artistic director and baroque flutist Jeffrey Cohan present works by the instrumentalist composers, both male and female, who were most admired by Louis XIV in France around 1700.

Join Middle Eastern dance classes with Robyn W. Gordon on Wednesdays at 6pm at Orcas Senior Center. Open to all ages and skill levels, these lessons are designed to suit individual paces, with foundational moves practiced continuously to build confidence. Classes are $15 per session, or $12 for Orcas Senior Center members. Financial assistance is available- no one will be turned away.
