Introduction to Pilates Workshop
Wednesdays/Fridays at 9:00am at Center Works Studio (The front of the Athletic Center Building)
Joins us for one of our gateway classes to the studio! Strengthen, tone, improve your balance and flexibility! The workshop is designed around beginning mat work with a discussion about the history of the craft. Over the course of the workshop we will move to more intermediate mat work and props, and well as introducing work on two pieces of apparatus-the tower and the reformer. Orcas teens are raising money for a one week service trip to Spokane for Spring Break. “The kids will be serving through well established Spokane organizations such as Second Harvest Food Bank, Cup of Cool Water, L’Arche, Global Neighborhood and Thrift, Young Lives, Christ Kitchen and Clinic, House of Charity, Union Gospel Mission, and 90+ Project soccer and mentor program.
