Orcas Chamber Music Festival Seminar
August 21st from 9:00am-12:30pm at the St. Francis Catholic Church
This seminar features lecturer Lisa Bergman exploring the magnificent closing concert, “Hallelujah Junction.” All seminars include a visit to a concert rehearsal, tickets are $30 and can be purchased at www.oicmf.org.
Introduction to Pilates Workshop
Wednesdays/Fridays at 9:00am at Center Works Studio (The front of the Athletic Center Building)
Joins us for one of our gateway classes to the studio! Strengthen, tone, improve your balance and flexibility! The workshop is designed around beginning mat work with a discussion about the history of the craft. Over the course of the workshop we will move to more intermediate mat work and props, and well as introducing work on two pieces of apparatus-the tower and the reformer. After completing the workshop you are welcome to join any class offered by the studio! Enrollment for the 7 week program is $168.00 plus tax, for more information or to register call 360-376-3659.

School Garden Perennial Prep & Pizza Party
August 22nd from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Public School Garden
It’s time to wake up and clean up the resting school garden! The work will start at 10:00am and fresh pizza from our garden cob oven will be served around 1:30pm. All ages are welcome to help and party! Dress to get dirty, bring water, tools would be helpful (label them well) and gloves.
